PRESS RELEASE: Goldbelt Announces New Board Officers Following 51st Annual Meeting
JUNEAU, Alaska — Goldbelt Inc. celebrated its 51st Annual Meeting of Shareholders on Saturday, July 12, 2025, at Centennial Hall in Juneau. Goldbelt shareholders approved the new Goldbelt Elders Trust, elected one new board member, and welcomed a new board chair. The event marked a high point in shareholder engagement.
The meeting was a testament to Goldbelt’s continued growth and unity. Shareholders gathered to vote in the 2025 Board of Directors election and celebrate the vibrant culture that helps shape the Goldbelt community.

“The 51st Annual Meeting of Goldbelt Shareholders was a success by all measures,” said newly selected Board Chair Katherine Eldemar. “There was an excellent turnout and festive atmosphere as we came together in pursuit of a collective vision. It is an honor to be selected by my fellow board members to serve as Chair of the Goldbelt Board of Directors.
Further, I welcome Anne Margaret “Maggie” Tompkins to our Board. She has over two decades experience at the Goldbelt Tram, bringing a breadth of knowledge with her. We are unified in our commitment to building on Goldbelt’s momentum. Our strength is grounded in our shared values. Together, we will continue creating enduring value for our shareholders and future generations.”
Board Election and Leadership Reorganization
This year’s election saw strong participation, with 70.4% of voting shares represented with a total of 322,652 shares were voted. The election results are as follows:
- Anne Margaret “Maggie” Tompkins – 114,082 votes (newly elected)
- Lisa-Marie Ikonomov – 103,419 votes (re-elected)
- Todd Antioquia – 87,901 votes (re-elected)

Additional candidates included:
Gail Marie Dabaluz (79,053), Dionne Desiree Cadiente-Laiti (41,832), Margaret Andie James (27,470), and Ciana Powell (18,364).
The elected directors will serve three-year terms ending in 2028.
After the Annual Meeting, the board convened to reorganize officer positions. The 2025–2026 board officers are:
- Katherine Eldemar, Chair
- Benjamin Coronell, Vice Chair
- Lori Grant, Treasurer
- Lynette Page, Secretary

Elders’ Trust Approved
Shareholders voted in favor of the Goldbelt Elders’ Trust, a new Trust designed to honor and financially support the corporation’s Elders.
