Goldbelt Heritage Foundation was formed in 2007 to document the Tlingit language and stories, which will help to preserve our culture and history for future generations.  The Foundation seeks to translate the Tlingit oral language into a written language.  Because of the complexity of the Tlingit language the process involves years of effort and research with Tlingit elders.
