General Manager Goldbelt Hotel:
Goldbelt, Incorporated has an opening for the general manager of the Goldbelt hotel.

Minimum Qualifications to be considered for the position are:

Bachelors degree in Hotel or Hospitality Management or related business discipline; AND
At least 7 years experience in hotel management, to include three (3) years as a hotel general manger, and the balance of the experience as assistant general manager and/or front desk manager. Restaurant management experience helpful; OR
High school diploma or equivalent with 10 years of hotel management experience, to include 3 years as a hotel general manager.

Senior Executive, Government Services Company

Goldbelt, Incorporated, an Alaska Native Corporation (ANC) is searching for an experienced senior executive to fill the position of President, Goldbelt Falcon, LLC., a subsidiary with 8(a) status. Falcon is a fast growing government services company with a corporate office in Newport News VA.

Successful candidate must have 5 years of proven experience as a senior manager in profitable firms; a working knowledge of the SBA 8(a) program as it relates to ANC’s; and knowledge and experience in contracting with the Federal government. Other specific requirements include the ability to:

Work independently
Provide administrative and technical leadership in the execution of contracts;
Develop a viable business plan with a supporting marketing plan to ensure sustained growth;

Position reports directly to the President and CEO of Goldbelt and will coordinate with the VP– Government /Services.

Degree in engineering, a science field or business administration is acceptable. An MBA and military experience in procurement would be a plus. Must be able to obtain a Top Secret clearance within 120-days of employment.

Routine travel between project sites and other project locations is required with occasional travel in support of the government clients and/or corporate initiatives.

Salary will be commensurate with experience and will include a full benefits package to include Medical/Dental/Vision, Life/AD&D, STD/LTD and a 401(k) to include an adjudicated incentive program based upon contract performance.

Goldbelt Security Services has an opening for a full time Security Officer. This position is located in Juneau.

Goldbelt Security Services, through its parent company, offers a benefit package to all full time employees after completing a step probation period. Details are outlined in the employee handbook. Goldbelt Security Services provides uniforms and safety equipment required for this position. Pay range: DOE per hour + medical insurance and personal leave plus holiday pay is offered by Goldbelt for recognized holidays.

Successful candidates:

1. Must provide a copy of criminal background report and driver’s license report from the State of Alaska with their application. Criminal and driving reports are available from the Department of Public Safety office, Records and information office, located on Whittier Street in Juneau, Alaska.

2. Must be able to obtain a security Guard license issued by the State of Alaska. A Security Guard License shall be completed after employment is offered.

3. Must provide Character references which are able to verify the applicant’s character and abilities to perform various security duties.

The successful candidate will oversee the housekeeping and laundry staff, and will be responsible for the overall cleanliness and appearance of guest rooms and common areas of the hotel. The successful candidate will be the primary purchaser for the hotel and must be available for flexible hours and shifts. Previous experience is highly desired.
