Goldbelt Board Holds Directors Meeting

Juneau, Alaska—The Goldbelt Board of Directors held its annual Director’s meeting at Corporate Headquarters in Juneau on July 5, 2010. The purpose of the meeting was to elect Board officers and arrange committee assignments for the Directors.

 Randy Wanamaker was elected as Chair, Katherine Eldemar was elected as Vice Chair, Trudy Skan was elected Corporate Secretary and Karen Taug was elected Treasurer. The Board reappointed all Executive Officers to their positions.

 Chairman, Randy Wanamaker, appointed a special committee to arrange committee assignments for the Directors and stated his goal of beginning the implementation of the Business Strategic Plan to diversify Goldbelt’s business interests. Goldbelt will continue its strategic realignment of its 8a companies, complete the Cascade Point Dock Facility and diversify into commercial real estate properties.  “Completion of the Cascade Point Dock Facility to provide safe transportation of Kensington Gold Mine Employees is very important to everyone,” said Randy Wanamaker.
